A store that only sells guitars? That won’t fly.

A lot of people had that reaction back in 1987 when Guitarworks first opened its doors on 16th Ave. N.W. in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  Nearly 20 years later that store and two others are still here, now firmly established as one of Canada’s premier dealers of guitars, amps and accessories. From modest beginnings, the stores have become a virtual Mecca for guitarists of all descriptions, known for a huge selection of top brands and a friendly, informed staff. Built on a “total guitar” concept, Guitarworks provides a complete destination for Alberta’s guitarists, providing lessons and repairs along with the retail experience.
